What is coaching?
The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy: Looks backwards and focuses on difficulties arriving from past that show up in present behavior. A therapist is the expert in emotional functioning and clinical diagnosis.
Coaching: Present and future focused with the primary goal to create actionable strategies to achieve a desired future state in one's work or life. The coach is not an expert, but a partner who is curious and supportive.
What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
Consulting: Subject matter experts who will diagnose a problem, recommend and implement solutions.
Coaching: Coaches believe that the individual is capable of generating their own solutions. Coach is a partner, supportive and asks questions but does not provide solutions.
How can leadership coaching support my employees?
Self-awareness, interpersonal skills (listening, empathy etc.), influence, leading during times of change, working in uncertainty, communication skills, motivation and engagement, leading with vision and purpose, building effective teams, developing their team, and shift from individual contributor to manager.

What are the qualifications for a coach?
A certified coach must meet the ICF Standards. The ICF Credential is the only globally recognized professional coaching certification. With an ICF Credential, coaches demonstrate their knowledge, skill, and commitment to high ethical and professional standards. ICF Credential-holders have fulfilled rigorous education and experience requirements and demonstrated their commitment to coaching excellence.
How long do clients typically work with coaches?
It depends on the individual goals and desired pace. Recommended 1x per week for 3 months (at a minimum). Some people do monthly, some do weekly for a month. We can discuss what feels like a good fit for you as we put together steps.
What is included in coaching?
1:1 Sessions: Recommended 1x a week for 4x a month for 3 months. Text & Email support in between sessions and exercises & action plans.
Where are your clients based?
Anywhere and I work with most of my clients virtually through Zoom or phone.
